FORMAL
ANNOUNCEMENT

BOOTLEG STEREO
welcomes it's newest
member...

Nick "PINK"
CLisby

Originating from Ray
City, GA Bootleg's
newest member is
the 27 year old Nick
"Pink" Clisby.
Growing up right
around the corner
from Brent and his
brother, Nick has just
recently seperated
from the Air Force
after 8 years.  While
in the military he
played with
numerous bands
such as 33 1/3
(Tucson, AZ), and
Undeniable Soul (San
Antonio, TX).
Originally starting
out on guitar and
then switching to
marching percussion,
Nick found his niche
behind a drum set.
His major influences
are Carter Beauford
(Dave Matthews
Band), Neil Peart
(Rush), Gene Krupa,
Kid Rock, and many
more.

Please join all of us
in welcoming Nick to
the BOOTLEG Family..

There are few announcements
that I have made on this page
that have literally hurt me to my
soul to make like this one:

BOOTLEG STEREO
regrets to announce
that MATT 'CRASH'
SPEIGHT has decided
to leave the band
effective May
12th..MATT is moving
to Washington to be
with his wife and kids
who have already been
up there for several
months..I know for
MATT that this was an
especially hard
decision for him to
make but one that was
inevitable...Matt is
most recognized as our
drummer and a
founding member of
this band, but MATTIE
is much more than a
drummer..Over the past
year we have all grown
close..that is what
happens when you
spend 4-5 hours twice a
week shut up in a room
with people...I grew
especially close to
MATT this year, he has
slept at my house, ate
at my house, played
with my kids and I with
his so his departure
will be especially hard
for me..I take solace in
the fact that I know he
longs to be HOME with
his family and
NOTHING is more
important than
that...We all Love you,
MATTIE and wish you
and Destiny and the
kids the very best for
the future......Remeber
you may be going
HOME to your family,
but will always have a
home with your second
family here..BOOTLEG
FOREVER!!!!

cabinhands literally
had to go to the

buy BEER with two
hours still to go in the
show..GREAT JOB YALL

* Thanks to Ray City
and Berrien County for
making us a part of the
150th Celebration of
Berrien County for a

an honor and pleasure
for us.

* BOOTLEG STEREO
performed an
impromptu set
Saturday, March 25th at
Freds in Nashville as
part of a fundraiser for
the Children's Miracle
Network. Our friends,
The Nightshift Band,
were performing as part
of the fundraiser and
invited us to help them
and we were honored to
accept. Anytime
musicians can lend
their talent to help
people in need there is
usually no end to the
giving

* Check out the our
music section of the
site to see and hear the
singles, 'DAWN' and
'TODAY' being
perfomed live by
BOOTLEG STEREO!

*What a great show at
the CABIN on March
3rd. If you missed it I
can't describe it for
you. The guys gave
away just about
everything but the
shirts on their backs.
Everyone who left the
CABIN, Friday had
something from the
band. I know Brent lost
a hat and Crash gave
away drumheads and
who knows how many
drumsticks. The fans at
the CABIN have always
been good to us and
allowed us to call it
home. Next time you
are in check out the
drumhead over the
door. The CABIN has
been branded!
